Why I am running

I am running for mayor because I believe that politics at the local level is something that is key to the fabric of what the founders expected and foresaw to protect individual rights and liberties among the people.

I love our community and the people I have built relationships with here. Local politics is personal for all of us because we understand how directly it affects our families and children.

I am a commonsense conservative who believes in freedom to exercise our rights and live how we desire as American citizens and as residents of our great city. I also believe that elected officials should be held accountable for the platforms that they hold, decisions that they make and the results.

I am a buck stops here candidate and have tried my best to live that in my everyday life as well. I believe we can do better. Much better. I will be a candidate that listens to the concerns of the constituents - not the special interest groups, NGO’s or outside influencers who want nothing more than to have control from a distance.

I believe that the absolute reason our republic is so great is because we are supposed to send people to elected offices that we can trust will have the best interest of the people they serve at heart, not themselves.

I hope you will join me in this endeavor. Together we can take Sheboygan to an even greater level than ever before.
